New Year new things

Hello! Its way into March and the snow if finally melting away. So tired of the gray days and damp air. Haven't been doing much photography lately. I've been doing more spectator sports, like watching Nascar and the bird cams. MN Bound has a cam going again with Eagles, only its a Great Horned Owl that now has taken over the nest. Go to facebook to find the site, if you like. I won't post that here. I'm keeping Hairys blog going, so check that out. If the sun ever comes out again, I hope to get some inspiration going to get some shots and posting. Take care and I hope you all are having a good year so far. Take Care and give someone a hug. :)

We are having a autumn color challenge over at the Hello World forum you can check it out. Please join if you like! The tool is the art history brush, a painting challenge, actually you can use any tool so long as it represents a painted look.
So with playing with the Art History settings, I choose a small brush, and area, with this tool your options are endless. I'm not a painter by no means but with this tool, I feel like a pro. Here is one of my images of autumn leaves and a rendition done with the art history brush.

There was some sunshine today, love the blue sky! But just mostly a gray day. Watched a new cat cross the back forty and leave pmail for my cats. So for today give that person you love a hug or kind word, it's still a beautiful world, love it!

Photoshop Artwork

Catching up with things, been working on the two new blogs, mine and Hairys. And would like to start posting some of my artwork here. I love the Holidays. And my most favorite is Halloween. But this year, I've been busy with caregiving. It takes a lot of my time. My husband, Pete had a stroke over a year ago in October. He is just a sweetheart. He's doing real good. But have taken over most of the chores. Which doesn't give me much time to play with my graphics. I have done some photography, love taking pictures. I have a new lens for my Nikon D40 but haven't had a change to play with it yet. So with some new inspiration from my colleagues over at Hello World great bunch of wonderful women. I manage to get my blog going and find it very time consuming but fun. So with that I did a vector piece of artwork for the forum.

I also have Hairy Potter up on another blog.  All images of him are photoshopped by myself.  I love that cat, and Benji too, can't forget about him.  I will get some images of him on Hairy's blog.  So for today I will be popping in and out to update things on my blogs.  These can be very fun!  I hope to add them to my facebook page.  OK then have a good day and take some time to smile at life!

Ok back to my blog, I found that I had two blogs going. Duh! Know wonder things didn't meld together. So getting back into the swing of things I will be adding a slide show for my images and getting Hairy back up and flying! (big smile) So for now I'm working on getting this back on track and getting back to my study group at HW. So check back soon. Plus I will send word when I get everything back in place.

Things Happen

Hello Been having pc problems. Course not being a web person not sure how
to fix things. I'm using Vista and have upgraded browers to IE 7. So now
I'm unable to access my google page or visit various web pages. So I'm off
to find a web site of my own. Probably about time. As I didn't want to
spent money for a site.
So I will be trying to get this blog going to at least keep in touch with my
followers and there pages.
